Installation Instructions for 93300

Rear Strut Bar For 2005-2006 Mustang

CAUTION: Observe proper safety and repair procedures for installation of all chassis parts. Some chassis parts require specialized tools and
experience and therefore MUST be installed by a qualified technician otherwise an unsafe vehicle and/or personal injury could result. Wear safety
glasses and other protection.
WARNING: Before beginning, check for any damaged or loose suspension connections. Loose connections here indicate worn or broken parts which
MUST BE REPLACED. Failure to replace a damaged or worn spindle and/or link may cause the wheel to separate from the vehicle, possibly resulting in
serious personal injury. Installer

MUST check for proper clearance. Modification(s) may be required. Please proceed ONLY if the vehicle owner is

completely aware of these potential suspension modifications.


Estimated Installation Time: 30 Minutes

Technical Rating: Moderate (Only for drilling)

Installation Instructions:

1.

Remove all contents and carpet from trunk interior.

2.

Remove the shock mounting nuts and the rubber

grommets.

3.

Lay the strut bar down over the shock studs. DO NOT

INSTALL THE RUBBER BUSHINGS OR NUTS AT THIS

TIME.

4.

At the center mounting points, mark the center of both

holes. Using a center punch and a hammer tap the position

for drilling. The picture shown, shows the bolts already

installed.

5.

From underneath the car, locate the fuel line, fuel breather

line and electrical loom. All three a grouped together in a

mounting bracket. The bracket is located behind the axle

but in front of the trunk spare tire area. Pop the lines out of the mount bracket. By gently

pulling the lines down, you will create room for drilling the center mounting holes.

6.

Carefully drill the mounting holes. Only drill through enough to get a clean hole. Be very

careful not to hit any lines or wires on the underneath side.
