Adjustable Rear Panhard Bar Kit For 2005-2010 Mustang

The Adjustable Rear Panhard Bar Kit features a very high range of adjustment via high-

strength steel tubes, mated to forged steel ends with durable polyurethane bushings. The panhard
bar relocation bracket removes the “splay” in the panhard bar and positions the assembly parallel to
the axle assembly for much improved performance and dynamics. One strange anomaly on the new
Mustang is thrust angle, which seems to be off slightly on almost every Mustang built. The new
Adjustable Rear Panhard Bar Kit goes a long way in fixing the issue altogether and correcting the
suspension geometry to maximize performance.

CAUTION: Observe proper safety and repair procedures for installation of all chassis parts. Some chassis parts require specialized tools and
experience and therefore MUST be installed by a qualified technician otherwise an unsafe vehicle and/or personal injury could result. Wear safety
glasses and other protection.

WARNING: Before beginning, check for any damaged or loose suspension connections. Loose connections here indicate worn or broken parts which
MUST BE REPLACED. Failure to replace a damaged or worn spindle and/or link may cause the wheel to separate from the vehicle, possibly resulting in
serious personal injury. Installer MUST check for proper clearance. Modification(s) may be required. Please proceed ONLY if the vehicle owner is
completely aware of these potential suspension modifications.

Installation Instructions:

Step 1: The OEM rear panhard bar is easy enough to replace, but it

does have a tendency to bind due to the “splay” or angle in the

panhard bar rear suspension geometry or architecture. First, remove

the 14mm bolts that attach the OEM panhard bar to the chassis and

axle housing. You gain access to the bolt at the axle housing by

removing the black plastic guard that covers the back of the bracket.

The panhard bar fits fairly tightly in the chassis and may also have

some bind in it, so you may have to use a pry-bar to remove it from the

pocket of the chassis mount.
