Installation Instructions

Note: Remove split steel ring from new anchor on

CRX, Civic, Del Sol and Integra. Failure to do so will

result in damage to mounting block and/or stud
breakage.

1. Before starting alignment, complete inspection check list.

Determine the amount of change needed.

2. Raise front of vehicle so that the tire is just above the ground.

Place the jack stands under the chassis/body.

3. From under the hood, remove the anchor bolt nuts.

4. Pull control arm down and rotate arm using the tire as a work surface.

Note:Civic, CRX and Del Sol release control arm bolts from

anchor bolts and remove and discard support strap.

5. Remove nonadjustable anchor bolts from control arm.

Install new adjustable anchors with the large radius facing the ball joint.

6. Reinstall the control arm to the body and torque anchor nuts to

47 ft. lbs. (located inside engine compartment).

7. Torque control arm to anchor pivot bolts to 22 ft. lbs. snug the

bottom adjuster nut. Note: Car must be lowered on the ground

first when installing kits with rubber bushings.

9. Adjust camber to desired specification by sliding control arm 1-1/4° to 3°

positive. Tighten and torque the bottom adjuster nut to 35 ft. lbs.

10. IMPORTANT NOTE: ALWAYS CHECK FOR CLEARANCE BE-

TWEEN THE CONTROL ARM AND THE INNER FENDER!!

The Posi-Change

tm

allows camber changes up to 3° positive.

Each block displays a vertical line above the bushing that represents a 2°

positive change. Adjusting beyond 2° may require altering the inner fender

lining for control arm clearance.

IMPORTANT NOTE: ALWAYS CHECK FOR

CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE CONTROL ARM AND

THE INNER FENDER!!

ninety (90) days from date of purchase. During the warranty period, Ingalls will repair, or at its option

replace at no charge, components that prove to be defective. The product must be returned, shipping

prepaid, to Ingalls facility. This limited warranty does not apply if the product is damaged by accident or

misuse. The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied including but not

limited to any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness, or adequacy for any particular purpose or use

Ingalls shall not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages whether in contract, tort, or

otherwise resulting from the use of or the inability to use the product.

Use of this product in competition, or use on vehicles altered from original manufacturer's specifications or

settings, EXPRESSLY VOIDS WARRANTY. The user is urged to inspect for suspension binding or interference

when the product is used in these manners. However, due to the varying conditions and manner of use

which the product will be subjected to in such uses, Ingalls Engineering Co., Inc. makes no warranties,

either express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose for

use in competition or with specifications or setting other than those specified by the original manufacturer's

specifications.

To minimize possible noises characteristic of polyurethane

bushings, always lube before installation. To avoid inherent

polyurethane noises use the rubber bushing version.
