Newport Brass 123 Brasstech - Manual

Recommended installation by a Professional Plumbing Contractor
Fits 3 1/2” diameter drain hole.
Disconnect and remove existing flange / strainer assembly from
drain pipe.
Dis-assemble BODY ASSEMBLY (2) by remov-
ing BOLT (3).
Place DRAIN BODY(4) and FOAM GASKET
(5), (brass version only, non petroleum
plumbers putty may be used in place of foam
gasket), in sink hole.
From underside of sink hole, place RUBBER
GASKET (6) and DRAIN HOUSING (7).
Secure to DRAIN BODY (4) with BOLT (3).
Attach DRAIN HOUSING (7) to existing tail-
piece drain pipes with 1 1/2” LOCK NUT(9)
and WASHER (8) provided.
Place BASKET ASSEMBLY (1), (122-4 or 123-4)
into DRAIN BODY (4). To seal, force basket
downward. To open, pull basket upward.
Run water in sink, open / close basket and
inspect for leaks. Make adjustments as necessary.
