4. How to configure access point for first time
(The following screenshot is from an iOS mobile device)
i. Connect a RJ45 Ethernet cable to
the AV200, power on the AV200
and wait about 35 seconds.
ii. Open your mobile device’s wireless
network settings, select the
wireless access point DashDrive
Air_XXXXXX, and click connect.
iii. Determine the mobile device to
connect to the AV200, and start
the web browser.
iv. Enter: http://10.10.1.1/ in
URL-address.
v. Click “Settings” at the upper-right
corner and then click “Gateway”.
i. To charge the embedded battery, connect the cable to the AV200’s mini-USB port and to
your PC/Notebook or USB wall adapter.
ii. When charging is done, the red LED indicator will turn off.
vi. Refer to the following
screen and click
“Next”.
vii. LAN Interface Setup
This stage is to set up
the parameters for
local area network
connected to the
AV200. To use the
storage function of
AV200, it is not
necessary to update
the IP address and
subnet mask. Please
click “Next” directly.
Select PPPoE for
ADSL on WAN
interface. Set the
User Name and
Password, then click
“Next”. If there is no
network for
connecting WAN Port
of AV200, keep it in
“DHCP Client” and
click “Next” directly to
skip it.
