One-Piece Seat

Tools Required:

• 10 mm wrench
• 7/16” wrench

Hardware:

• Two 1/4-20 x 3/4” Bolts- Classic (Included)
• Two 1/4-20 x1” Bolts- Custom (Included)
• Two 3/8” Tall Spacers- Custom (Included)

Baseplate Features:
The one-piece marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a
direct replacement for the stock seat. Rubber bumpers are
positioned to prevent the seat from touching the frame and
fender.

Stock Seat Removal Steps

1. Insert ignition key into left side cover and turn key clockwise to unlock stock seat.

2. Lift rear of seat up and then back to remove.

Mounting of Mustang Seat

1. Remove the latch pin bracket from the center of the stock seat with

a 10 mm wrench.

2. CLASSIC ONLY: Install bracket to seat using supplied 1/4-20 x 3/4”

bolts. Tighten with a 7/16" wrench.

Do not over tighten bolts.

CUSTOM ONLY: Install spacers between stock bracket and seat.
Secure bracket and spacers with 1/4-20 x 1" bolts. Tighten with a
7/16" wrench.

Do not over tighten bolts.

3. Slide nose bracket of seat under the gas tank receiver. Push seat all

the way forward then down onto fender latch.

4. Push center of seat down until click is heard; seat is now locked.
