Mounting Suggestions for the Kawasaki
Vulcan 800 1995-2005 and Vulcan 800
Classic 1996-2005 One-Piece Seat
Tools Required:
• Metric Allen Wrenches
• Metric Sockets
Hardware:
• Stock 6 mm rear bolt
• Nylon Washer (Included)
Baseplate Features:
The one-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a
direct replacement for the stock one-piece seat. Rubber
bumpers are strategically placed to protect the frame and
fender.
Stock Seat Removal Steps
1. Remove rear 6 mm bolt.
2. Slide seat back and up to remove. The seat may be tight and
some force is necessary.
3. Remove center bracket from fender and reinstall the two bolts.
Mounting of Mustang Seat
1. Engage nose tab.
2. Place included nylon washer between rear chrome tab and fender.
3. Secure with stock 6 mm bolt
