Two-Piece Seat
Tools Required:
• Phillips Screwdriver
• Allen Wrench Set
Hardware:
• Stock Rear F ender Screw
Solo Seat
• Nut Insert Kit w/Instructions (Included)
Passenger Seat
• Chrome Mounting Bracket (Included)
• Chrome 1/4”-20 Allen Bolt (Included)
Baseplate Features:
Solo and passenger seat feature formed steel baseplate
with polyurethane bumpers strategically located to
prevent them from touching the frame and to minimize
vibration.
Removal of Stock Seat
1. Remove rear fender screw and set aside. The stock rear fender screw will be used to attach your
new Mustang Seat.
2. If applicable, remove seat strap.
3. Slide seat back and lift up to remove.
Mounting of Mustang Solo
1. Install nut insert kit if needed. Note: Spool washer shown is
used for rear seat mounting only. (Fig. I)
2. Engage nose tab of seat into frame.
3. Align chrome rear tab with threaded mount in fender.
4. Secure the rear of the solo seat to the fender with stock
fender screw to complete the installation process.
NOTE: Mustang Passenger Seats work ONLY with Mustang Solo Seats.
