Mounting Suggestions:
Honda VT1100 Aero 1998-02
Two-Piece Seat

Hardware:

• Stock Fender Screw or Acorn Nut
• One Nylon Washer (Included)

Baseplate Features:
The two-piece, marine-grade fiberglass baseplate is a
direct replacement for the stock two-piece seat. Rubber
bumpers are positioned to protect the frame and fender.

Stock Seat Removal Steps

1. Remove rear fender acorn nut with a 10 mm

wrench.

2. Remove the mounting bolt on each side of the

solo seat with a 12 mm socket.

3. Slide seat back and up to remove.

Mounting of Mustang Seat

1. Check to make sure the two 1/4"-20x3/4" screws that secure rear seat to solo are tight.

2. Engage nose tab under frame, not under tank flange.

3. The supplied nylon washer goes between chrome mounting triangle and fender.

4. Secure seat using two stock side bolts and one rear fender mount.

5. Secure with stock acorn nut.
