I/O Link Editor – Example 2 Advanced
This example is more sophisticated and shows that each WP2P module can
essentially communicate with each other, with communications via the Controller.

Multiple links can be configured for any input or output anywhere in the system.

In this example the following happens:
Input 1 of WP2P module 1 is closed:

Multi Point Controller Output 1

On

WP2P Module 1 Output 1

On

WP2P Module 2 Output 1

On

WP2P Module 3 Output 1

On

Input 1 of WP2P module 2 is closed:

Multi Point Controller Output 2

On

WP2P Module 1 Output 2

On

WP2P Module 2 Output 2

On

WP2P Module 3 Output 2

On

Input 1 of WP2P module 3 is closed:

Multi Point Controller Output 3

On

WP2P Module 1 Output 3

On

WP2P Module 2 Output 3

The “Summary” pane on the right hand side shows a confirmation of the mapping.

Note – Save the Configuration. Please remember to save the configuration

and/or press “Print” to provide you with a paper copy of the I/O mapping.
These should be kept for future reference.
