1. In the Windows taskbar, click Start > Settings > Network Connections.
2. In the Network Connections window, right click the Local Area Connection icon
and click Properties.
3. The Local Area Connection screen displays the installed network components.
Select I nternet Protocol (TCP/IP) iand then click Properties.
4. In the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog box, select Use the following
IP address and key in 192.168.1.X (where X is any number between 2 and 254)
and 2.2.2.0 in the IP address field and Subnet Mask field.
5. Click OK to save your changes and then close the Control Panel.
Windows XP
Log in to the router
To log in to your router:
1. Key in
http://192.168.1.1 (the router's default IP address) into the address box of the
web browser and press Enter.
2. A login window appears. The default username is admin, and password is admin
(lowercase).
