Onboard LEDs

1.

Standby Power LED
The motherboard comes with a standby power LED that lights up to indicate that the

system is ON, in sleep mode, or in soft-off mode. This is a reminder that you should

shut down the system and unplug the power cable before removing or plugging in any

motherboard component. The illustration below shows the location of the onboard LED.

2.

TPU (GPU Boost) switch
Turning this switch to Enable will automatically optimize the system for fast, yet stable

clock speeds.

• For ensuring the system performance, turn the switch setting to Enable

when the system is powered off.

• When the TPU switch is set to Enable, it can be used as GPU Boost

switch.

• The TPU LED (ELED 730) near the TPU switch lights when the switch setting

is turned to Enable. Refer to section 1.12 Onboard LEDs for the exact location

of the TPU LED.

• If you change the switch setting to Enable under the OS environment, the

TPU function will be activated after the next system bootup.

• You may use the TurboV and Auto Tuning feature in the TurboV EVO

application, adjust the BIOS setup program, or enable the TPU switch at the

same time. However, the system will use the last setting you have made.
