5. Connect a 4-pin (female) power plug from the power supply unit to
the power connector at the back
of the optical drive.
6. Connect one end of the IDE
ribbon cable to the IDE
connector at the back of the
drive. Match the red stripe on
the cable with Pin 1 on the IDE
connector.
7. Connect one end of the audio
cable to the 4-pin connector at
the back of the drive.
8. Connect the other end of the IDE cable to the PRI_SIDE connector
on the motherboard. See page 67 for the location of the PRI_SIDE
connector.
9. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the 4-pin CD connector
on the motherboard. See page 69 for the location of the CD
connector.
10. Re-install the storage drive
assembly, then secure it with the
screws you earlier removed.
