Installation and Operation

Description

The SS 200 Sync Stabilizer interface will accept either a RGsB,
RGBS, or RGBHV signal, automatically strip off the sync on
Green or the sync on Red, Green and Blue, and output RGBHV/
RGBS through five BNC connectors and, simultaneously, through
a 15-pin VGA connector. The output will be restored sync with
proper timing as generated by Extron’s Advanced Digital Sync
Processing (ADSP™) technology. ADSP™ enables the SS 200
to be sync compatible with digital display devices, such as LCD
projectors, DLP displays, and Plasma-based displays.

The SS 200 comes with its own external desktop power supply
and a detachable bracket for mounting the unit to a projector
mount or other convenient surface.

______ Warning! The SS 200 can also be powered by a projector’s power

supply which has a 12VDC positive output. It is important to verify
that the projector power connector is actually positive 12VDC.

Front Panel

The front panel consists of an auto sync detect LED indicator
(lights green when sync is present), 5 BNC input connectors, a
Horizontal shift control knob, and 6 DIP switches.

Rear Panel

The rear panel consists 5 BNC output connectors, a 15-pin VGA
output connector, and a power input jack for the power supply.

Mounting Bracket

The included mounting bracket is attached to the SS 200 using
the 3 bracket screws. The SS 200 may then be attached to a
projector mount or some other secure surface by inserting the
mounting screw through the bracket’s slotted hole. Please refer
to the

Application Diagram Example on the last page.

Mounting templates for

Thru Desk and Under Desk installations

(using optional brackets) are provided on pages 3 and 4.
