Zero or Tare function
Condition 1 Zero function

To weigh different loads consecutively without
removing loads from the scale, place the first load on
the scale to take a reading.

Press the Z/T button to reset the LCD to “0” then add
the next load.

This operation can then be repeated.

After the third load is added the Z/T button must be
pressed twice to reset the LCD to “0”.

Max weight capacity is reduced by the total weight of all loads.
Condition 2 Tare function

To use the Tare function turn the unit on and place a
plate or bowl on the unit and press the Z/T button so
the LCD indicates “0”.

Place the first load on the scale to take a reading.

Press the Z/T button and the LCD will return to “0”.

Place the second load on the scale to take a reading.

Press the Z/T and the LCD will reveal the total weight.

Press the Z/T button a second time and the LCD will
return to “0”.

This operation can then be repeated.

Max weight capacity is reduced by the total weight of all loads.
Auto Shut off

Auto shut off occurs if the display shows “0” or shows
the same weight reading for 2 minutes. (Fig 8)
