place the unit on a hot surface.

Always remove the plug of the appliance safely. Do not pull on the
appliances cord to remove the appliance plug from the electrical socket.

Never handle or operate the appliance with wet hands.
Appliance specific safety precautions

Do not put oil or any other ingredients into the appliance as this will damage
the appliance.

Before operating the appliance make sure that the top cover, measuring cup
and the base unit are all in the right position (refer to point 3 in “Making
popcorn”).

Allow the appliance to cool for at least 10 minutes by switching off the
power after every two consecutive uses.

Do not attempt to carry out repairs on the appliance yourself, always seek a
professionally qualified person for repairs and maintenance on original parts.
