Vorwort
Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kun-
de, wir bedanken uns für den Kauf dieses
Funk-Bewegungsmelders. Mit diesem
Gerät haben Sie ein Produkt erworben,
Haustier nicht über eine Höhe von 1,5 Meter
gelangen kann (Möbel), um Fehlalarme zu
verhindern. Der Melder darf ebenfalls nicht
auf eine Treppe blicken, die Ihr Haustier
hinauflaufen kann. Trotz der Angabe
„tierimmun bis xx kg“ kann es vorkommen,
dass Tiere mit geringerem Gewicht, den
Melder auslösen. Die Gefahr einer
Falschauslösung ist besonders hoch, wenn
sich das Tier im Nahbereich des Melders
bewegt, springt oder fliegt.
6. Nachdem Sie die Bodenplatte an der
Wand befestigt haben, montieren Sie
die Platine wieder in das
Meldergehäuse.
7. Verändern Sie je nach Bedarf die Ein-
stellung mit Hilfe der DIP-Schalter
und schließen Sie das Melder-
gehäuse.
3. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Anlage die
Signale des Melders empfängt. Nach jeder Meldung leuchtet die LED des
Melders ca. eine Sekunden lang auf. Ist die
Batterie schwach, so blinkt die LED.
Einlernen
Um den Melder zu nutzen, müssen Sie ihn
an der ABUS Funk-Alarmanlage einlernen.
Gehen Sie dabei wie folgt vor: Einstellung
Einstellungen werden an der Platine mit Hilfe
der vier DIP-Schalter vorgenommen.
Schließen Sie das Gehäuse und überprüfen
Sie Ihre Einstellungen. Um die Lebensdauer
der Batterien zu verlängern, wählen Sie den
Modus Normal.

Dieser Funk-Bewegungsmelder dient zur
Überwachung von Innenräumen. Er reagiert
auf jede Art von Wärmebewegung und
meldet dies der ABUS Funk-Alarmanlage.
Haustiere unter 36 kg lösen keinen Alarm
aus (nur beim tierimmunen PET Funk-Bewe-
gungsmelder)*
Bringen Sie den Melder NICHT an:
- gegenüber Wärmequellen oder Fenstern
- über einem Heizkörper oder nahe dem Boden
- in der Nähe von großen Metallstrukturen,
von Netzleitungen oder Gasleitungen
- nahe elektr. Geräten oder Funkgeräten
1. Achten Sie darauf, dass DIP-Schalter 1
und 2 auf “OFF“ geschaltet sind.
2. Setzen Sie die Alarmanlage in den Einlern-
Modus. Der Schriftzug “Warte auf Signal“
erscheint im Display.
3. Halten Sie den Deckel- und Wandabriss-
kontakt des Senders für mindestens drei
Sekunden gedrückt, um eine Meldung an
die Alarmanlage zu senden.
4. Vergewissern Sie sich an der Alarmanlage,
dass diese den Funk-Bewegungsmelder
erkannt hat.
5. Setzen Sie Ihre Alarmanlage wieder in
den normalen Betriebsmodus zurück und
testen Sie den Melder (Gehtest).
Empfindlichkeitseinstellung (DIP 1)
Wählen Sie bei Langsteckenlinsen auf jeden
Fall die höchste Empfindlichkeitseinstellung.
Montage
1. Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse. Nehmen Sie
hierzu einen Schraubendreher und führen
ihn in die Einsparung an der Unterseite
des Melders. Drehen Sie den Schrauben-
dreher vorsichtig, bis sich der Deckel von
der Bodenplatte hebt.
2. Entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie und legen
Sie die beigefügte Lithium-Batterie polrich-
tig in die vorgesehene Halterung ein.
3. Montieren Sie den Melder an der ge-
wünschten Stelle. Entfernen Sie hierfür
zuerst die Platine, indem Sie die Halte-
schraube lösen und die Platine vorsichtig
aus dem Meldergehäuse herausnehmen.
4. Schrauben Sie jetzt die Bodenplatte des
Melders an die Wand. Auf der Gehäu-
serückseite sind hierfür Gehäusedurch-
brüche eingearbeitet. Entfernen Sie die
Aussparungen für die Schrauben und die
Aussparungen für den Wandabrisskontakt
(bei Bedarf).
5. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gehäuse
flach auf dem Untergrund aufliegt, damit
der Wandabrisskontakt geschlossen ist.
Betriebsmodus (DIP 2)
Modus “Normal“: Der Melder hält nach jeder
Alarmmeldung eine Ruhezeit von 2,5 Minu-
ten ein. In dieser Zeitspanne sendet er keine
Signale.
Modus “Walk Test“: Der Melder sendet jede
Meldung. Eine Ruhezeit wie im Modus “Nor-
mal“ gibt es nicht. (Empfohlen für Test und
Installation)
Gehtest
Um einen Gehtest durchzuführen, müssen
Sie die DIP-Schalter und Steckbrücken auf
folgende Positionen anbringen:
1. DIP-Schalter 2 (Walk Test) auf “ON“
2. DIP-Schalter 4 (LED) auf “ON“
3. DIP-Schalter 1 (Empfindlichkeitseinstel-
lung) auf “ON“ oder “OFF“.
Schließen Sie das Gehäuse und testen Sie
jetzt den Melder.
Beachten Sie die Anweisungen und Hinweise
in dieser Anleitung! Sollten Sie sich nicht an
diese Anleitung halten, erlischt Ihr Garan-
tieanspruch! Für Folgeschäden wird keine
Haftung übernommen! Das gesamte Produkt
darf nicht geändert oder umgebaut werden.
Supervision Zeiteinstellung (DIP 3)
Der Melder sendet – je nach Einstellung
– alle 15 / 65 Minuten ein Statussignal an die
Alarmanlage. Die Meldung gibt Auskunft über
den Zustand von Batterie, Alarm, Sabotage-
kontakt.
Auswahl des Montageortes
Optimaler Montageort ist direkt in einer Ecke,
zwischen 2-3 Meter über dem Boden. Die
mögliche Bewegungsrichtung eines Eindring-
lings sollte senkrecht zum Melder erfolgen.
Befestigen Sie den Melder probeweise mit
doppelseitigem Klebeband und lösen Sie
zum Testen einen Alarm aus. Wurde dieser
von der Anlage nicht empfangen, testen Sie
den Melder an einer anderen Stelle.
Nur PET: Achten Sie darauf, dass Ihr
LED (DIP 4)

test-Modus (Bedienungsanleitung Anlage)

this radio motion sensor. You made the
right decision in choosing this state-of-the-
art technology, which complies with the

see the message “Scanning for signal ” on
the display.
3. Press the lid and wall removal contact of
the transmitter and keep it pressed for at
least 3 seconds to send a message to the
alarm centre.
4. Check that the alarm system has recog-
nised the radio motion sensor.
5. Switch your alarm centre back to normal
operating mode and test the sensor (walk
test).
Operating mode (DIP 2)
“Normal” mode: The sensor goes into idle
mode for 2.5 minutes after each alarm mes-
sage. It sends no signals in this period.
“Walk Test” mode: The sensor sends every
message. There is no idle time as in “Normal”
mode (recommended for test and installati-
on).
Technical data
Do NOT install the detector:
– opposite sources of heat or windows
– above a radiator
– near the floor
– near large metal structures
– within 1 meter of electric cables or gas pipes
– near electronic equipment or radio devices

This radio motion sensor is used for interior
object surveillance. It reacts to all types of
heat movement and reports this to the ABUS
radio alarm centre. Animals under 36 kg do
not trigger an alarm (animal-immune PET
radio motion sensors only).*
Surveillance time setting (DIP 3)
Depending on the setting, the sensor sends a
status signal to the alarm centre every 15/65
minutes. The message informs you about the
state of the battery, alarm, tamper contact.
Installation
1. Open the case. Do this by inserting a
screwdriver into the gap at the bottom of
the detector. Turn the screwdriver carefully
until the lid is free of the base.
2. Remove the protective foil and insert the
lithium battery provided in the battery clip
(check battery poles!).
3. Install the detector at the selected location.
First remove the PC board by loosening
the screw and carefully pulling the board
out of the detector housing.
4. Screw the detector base-plate to the wall.
Holes have already been cut out of the
rear for this purpose. Remove the screw
blanks and the blanks for the wall removal
contact (as necessary).
5. Make sure that the housing lies flat on the
surface so that the wall removal contact is
closed.
6. After fixing the base-plate to the wall, put
the PC board back into the detector hou-
sing.
Walk test
Before conducting a walk test, put the DIP
switches and the jumpers in the following
positions:
1. DIP switch 2 (Walk Test) to “ON”
2. DIP switch 4 (LED) to “ON”
3. DIP switch 1 (sensitivity setting) to “ON” or
“OFF”.
Close the housing and test the sensor.
1. Switch the alarm system to Walk Test
mode (see the operating instructions).
2. Enter the surveillance area of the sensor.
If movement is detected, the LED flashes.
The surveillance area of the radio motion
sensor is somewhat larger than the sur-
veillance area of the animal-immune radio
motion sensor.
LED (DIP 4)
After each message, the LED of the sensor
lights up for about a second. If the battery is
low, the LED flashes.
Read carefully the notes and advice in these
operating instructions! If you do not follow
these instructions, your guarantee claim
becomes invalid! We can accept no liability
for the consequences! No part of the product
may be changed or modified in any way.
3. Make sure that the alarm centre can recei-
ve signals from the sensor.
Selecting the installation location
The best place to install the equipment is in
a corner, between 2 and 3 metres above the
ground. The intruder’s possible direction of
movement should be vertical to the detector.
Use double-sided adhesive tape to fix the
detector temporarily in different locations
and test it by triggering an alarm. If it is not
detected by the alarm centre, move the
detector to a new position.
PET only: To prevent false alarms, make sure
that your pet cannot reach a height of over
1.5 metres (e.g., on furniture). The detector
must not face a staircase that could be used
by your pet.
Setting
You change the settings by varying the 4
DIP switches. Close the housing and check
your settings. To increase the battery lifetime,
select Normal mode.
Learning
To use the detector, you first have to train it
on the ABUS radio alarm centre. Proceed as
follows:
1. Make sure that DIP switches 1 and 2 are
set to “OFF”.

detector housing.
Despite the words "pet immune to xx kg"
it is possible that animals with a lower
weight, trigger the detector. The risk of
false triggering is particularly high when
the animal is moving in the vicinity of the
detector, jump or fly.
