Two independent channels

With the Agilent 4395A, you determine
the analyzer type (network, spectrum,
or impedance) first, and then you can
define each channel’s parameters under
your selected analyzer type. Using the
4396B, you can define analyzer type
for each channel independently. So if
you see any unusual frequency response
while making a network measurement
on the Agilent 4396B, you can quickly
switch to spectrum monitoring (source
will be turned off) to identify spurious
signals without changing DUT connec-
tion on the color LCD with dual
display as shown in figure.
