Models 1689 and 1690 are high current DC power supplies designed for continuous duty. These power
supplies provide up to 28 A maximum current output continuously hour after hour without overheating,
making them ideal car battery substitutions for servicing or powering high power car stereos, cellular
phone products, or ham radios.
The models offer analog (model 1689) or digital (model 1690) displays with multiple output terminals.
Two pairs of 3 A, snap-in connectors are easily accessible on the front panel, and a pair of 28 A screw-on
output terminals are located on the rear panel.
