11. Only use attachments/ accessories specified by the manufacturer.

12. Unplug this unit during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the unit has been

damaged in any way, such as the following: the power-supply cord or plug has been damaged; liquid

has been spilled or objects have fallen into the unit; and/or the unit has been exposed to rain or

moisture, does not operate normally, has changed its performance or has been dropped.

14. Do not overload wall outlet. Use only power source as indicated.

15. Use replacement parts as specified by the manufacturer.

16. The product may be mounted to a wall only if recommended by the manufacturer.

17. Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform

safety checks.

UNPACKING

When unpacking, ensure that the following elements are included:

1 x Spider-Man™ speakers with audio cable

1 x AC/DC adapter

1 x instruction manual

WARNING: All packaging materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire ties and tags are not part of this

product and should be discarded.

POWER SUPPLY

The Spider-Man™ speakers work with a 6V 500 mA adapter, with positive centre.

1. Check that the unit is switched off .

2. Insert the DC plug, at the end of the AC adapter cord into the DC input jack, at the back of the unit.

3. Plug the other end of the adapter in an AC 230V – 50Hz power outlet.

A power adapter is not a game. Unplug the power adapter if you are not going to use the product

for a long period of time, this will avoid overheating. While the unit is powered by a power adapter,

do not use it outdoors. Check regularly the condition of the power adapter and its leads. If the

latter becomes deteriorated, do not use them until they are fully repaired.

LISTENING TO MUSIC

You can connect the speakers to an iPod®, a MP3 player or a CD player (not included) with an audio

cable (included).

1. Plug the audio cable located on the top of the unit into the AUDIO IN input of your iPod®, your MP3

player or CD player (not included).

2. Slide the ON/OFF switch located on the left side of the speakers to the “ON” position to switch

on the unit.

3. Use the volume button located on the left side of the speakers to adjust the volume level.

4. Use the function keys of your audio device to pause and resume the playback, adjust the volume

and select the next or the previous track.

Note: The hidden drawer at the back of the speakers can be used to store all your secret objects!

Important note: The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily

accessible.

WARNING: Mal-function or loss of memory may be caused by strong frequency interference or

electrostatic discharge. Should any abnormal function occur, unplug the AC/DC adapter from the

mains socket and replug it again.
