Basic Operation

Turning Power
On and Off

Press the PWR button to turn on the unit.

Note: The unit can be turned on by pressing

any other button except the eject

c

button.

The volume level gradually increases to the
previous level you were listening to before the
unit was turned off. Press the PWR button
again to turn off the unit.

Subwoofer On and Off

Use the Subwoofer Output when a non-fading
signal would be most effective. For example, to
drive an amplifier with a low-pass filter.

Press and hold the Eject button for at least 3
seconds.
With each press, Subwoofer is toggled On or
Off.

Notes:

Initial mode is "SUBW OFF."

Leave the "SUBW OFF" as long as the
Subwoofer output is not being used.

When the subwoofer is turned on, the
subwoofer output level can be adjusted. For
more details, refer to the Adjusting Volume/
Bass/Treble/Balance/Fader section on page
24.
