PACIW124
The PACIW124 is a 20" and 24" wood stud kit (and metal stud kit for the MIW only) for use with Chief medium and large in-wall mounts. See
the specific installation instructions provided with the mount for additional installation information.
Unpack carton and verify kit contents. If any listed parts are missing, immediately contact a Chief Customer Service representative.
INSTALLATION
WARNING: FAILURE TO PROVIDE ADEQUATE STRUCTURAL STRENGTH FOR THIS COMPONENT CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS
PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! It is the installer’s responsibility to make sure the structure to which this component
is attached can support five times the combined weight of all equipment. Reinforce the structure as required before installing the
component. The wall to which the mount is being attached may have a maximum drywall thickness of 5/8" (1.6cm).
WARNING: EXCEEDING THE WEIGHT CAPACITY CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT!
It is the installer’s responsibility to make sure the combined weight of all components attached to the PACIW124 accessory does not
exceed 125 lbs (56.7 kg) for the MIW, and 200 lbs (90.7 kg) for the PIW.
1. Use the PACIW124 in place of the mounting rail and rail cover included with the in-wall mount.
2. Complete the installation following the in-wall mount installation instructions.
