NAS1S23/28 SHELVES

The NAS1S23/28 shelves are designed for use with Chief® Raxxess S1 Series racks. See the specific installation instructions provided with
the rack for additional installation information.

PERSONAL INJURY, DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT, OR VOIDING OF FACTORY WARRANTY! It is the installer’s responsibility to make
sure all components are properly assembled and installed using the instructions provided.

EXCEEDING THE WEIGHT CAPACITY CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO

EQUIPMENT! It is the installer’s responsibility to make sure the combined weight of all components located on each shelf does not exceed
250 lbs (113.4 kg).

NOTE:

The optional brackets (B) may be attached to the shelf to

keep components from being pushed toward back of shelf.

Align two brackets (B), as required, onto shelf (A). (See Figure 1)

2.

Fasten brackets to shelf using four #4-40 x 1/4" studs (C) and
four #4-40 locknuts (E). (See Figure 1)

Attach shelf to rack using four 1/4-20 x 1/2" studs (D) and four
1/4-20 locknuts (F). (See Figure 2)

4.

Attach additional shelves as required.
