2. Scribe two lines, one on each frame bottom, .88" (7/8") from outside edge of frame and parallel to the edge. Line should be 1" to

2" long and located approximately 14-1/2" forward of frame end.

3. Lift the center section of the hitch upward to the frame. Locate the rear corner plates on the rearward side of the E.A. cylinder

flanges. Install four M8 bolts with serrated washers forward through the holes. Reinstall the four M8 nuts removed on step 1.
Tighten the nuts finger tight.

4. Install left side plate and right side plate onto the center section with six 3/8" rib neck bolts, 3/8" lock washers and 3/8" nuts.

Alternately tighten the nuts until the bolt heads seat.

NOTE: The "no rear crossmember frame" allows variances in frame width. In extreme cases, it may be necessary to adjust width;

loosen the two body mounting bolts and eight bumper bolts. Adjust the frame. Frame width (outside to outside) should be
47.08" (47-3/32"). Re-torque body and bumper bolts.

5. Center forward mounting holes of side plates under scribed lines. Use hammer to move plates sideways if necessary. Mark

hole centers, remove brackets and drill 9/16" holes through the frame. DO NOT drill into weld bead on the frame.

6. Insert pull wire - spring end first - through the drilled hole and out through the access hole being careful not to pull the wire

completely through the drilled hole. Screw a 1/2" carriage bolt with a bolt plate onto the pull wire and pull it into place. (See
figure 2). Install spacer with partial hole between the frame and side plates. Install a 1/2" serrated washer, and 1/2" lock nut on
the bolt. Repeat for the other side.

7. Torque four M8 bolts to 25 ft.*lb.

Torque six 3/8" nuts to 35 ft.*lb.
Torque two 1/2" nuts to 70 ft.*lb.
