V erify what is behind any surface prior
to drilling to avoid damage to the vehicle
and/or personal injury. Do not drill into
any exposed surfaces.
W ARNING
All connections m ust be complete for the
T-Connector to function properly. Test and
verify installation with a test light or trailer
once installed.
5. Replace car pet, wing nuts and any other
clips or panels that were removed during
installation being careful not to cut or pinch
the wires.
W ARNING
Ov erloading circuit can cause fires.
DO NOT exceed lower of towing
manufacturer rating or:
• Max. stop/turn light: 1 per side (7.5 amps)
• Max. tail lights: (7.5 amps)

TOOLS RECOMMENDED:
Dr ill (3/32” Drill Bit),
Philips Head Screwdriver
1. Locate the v ehicle wiring inside the
vehicle's trunk. Start by removing each
of the plastic wing nuts located behind
the taillights
de . Carefully pull back
the carpet to expose the vehicle’s taillight
wiring
f .
2. Beginning with the dr iver's side, slide the
red loc king tab on the harness connector
to the unlocked position and disconnect
the wire harness from sockets. There will
be connection points matching the ends
of the T-Connector adapter. All connector
surfaces should be clean and free of dirt.
Attach each end to the T-Connector
containing the
y ellow wire . Be sure that
connectors are fully inserted with locking
tabs in place.
3. Route the connector containing the green
wire do wn the threshold to the passenger
side of the vehicle

. Push the wiring
between the vehicle body and carpet.
Repeat step 2 for T-Connector end with
the
green wire .
4. Locate a suitab le grounding point near
the adapter such as the vehicle frame
or crossmember. (Do not drill into vehicle
floor or bed). Clean dirt and rustproofing
from the area. Drill a 3/32" hole and
secure the
white wire using the e yelet
and screw provided.
