4. Locate fuse compartment on passenger
side kick panel, near glove box
h. Open
fuse compartment and place 7.5 amp fuse
provided into fuse position #5 in fuse box

Attach the fuse label to fuse cover in position
#5
j. Close fuse compartment.
WARNING
Do not use larger fuse.
WARNING
Replacing fuses that exceed 7.5 amps could
result in damage of the vehicle and or trailer.
5. Reposition passenger side panels, trays and
trunk floor panels and reattach the threshold.
WARNING
All connections must be complete for the
T-Connector to function properly. Test and
verify installation with a test light or trailer
once installed.
WARNING
Overloading circuit can cause fires.
DO NOT exceed lower of towing
manufacturer rating or:
• Max. stop/turn light: 1 per side (2.1 amps)
• Max. tail lights: (4.2 amps)

TOOLS REQUIRED:
Trim Panel Remover, Pliers
1. Open the vehicle’s rear tailgate. Remove
cargo liner and threshold. Set aside all items
removed being careful not to damage parts.
Remove the passenger side rear cargo area
trim panel so it can be pulled away from the
vehicle to locate the vehicle’s black electric
junction box

2. Plug the grey connector into the mating
connection in the top right corner of the
electric junction box
e. Mount white ground
wire to existing ground stud next to the
electric junction box
f. Mount the black
box using the double-sided tape provided
inside the passenger side trim panel on
clean flat surface.
WARNING
Make sure all other ground connections are
secure when removing and reattaching the
ground stud.
3. Route 4-Flat wire across to drivers side
under threshold and cable tie to factory
wiring harness. Route under driver side
trim panel and store in jack compartment
for future use
