Aux Power Connector
The AUX port is located on all paging station next to the RJ­45 connector used for network communication. The Aux Port is designed to
connect a 3rd party control interface to the paging station and provide access to all standard paging control functionalities such as triggering

functions and are processed at the paging station. The paging station keypad will be disabled when “remote control mode” is selected in
software which activates the AUX Port. When the AUX port is used feedback of the paging state will still be presented on the paging station
display. The paging state can also be queried via VTP. The software will allow selection of the local Push­to­Talk (PTT) button on the paging
station, the discrete PTT button or a serial command (VTP). The user can also select in software whether to use the local paging microphone
or a remote audio input.
