USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Storage

While not in use, turn the dryer off, unplug the hair dryer, allow to

cool completely, and store out of the reach of children in a safe and

dry location. Never store it while it is hot or still plugged in. Never

wrap the cord tightly around the appliance. Never hang the dryer by

the cord. Handle the cord carefully for long life, and avoid jerking,

twisting or straining especially at plug connections.

Maintenance

Attention: Before cleaning or maintenance is done to the dryer, turn

the dryer off and unplug.

Your dryer is virtually maintenance free. No lubrication is needed.

During use, untwist the cord from time to time to avoid tangling.

If any malfunction occurs, do not try to repair it yourself. Unplug the

appliance, allow it to cool and call Consumer Service for examination

and repair (See Warranty Section). This appliance has no user

serviceable parts.

Cleaning the Dryer

Keep all vents and openings clear of dirt or dust. Should dirt or oils

accumulate on the dryer, unplug the unit and wipe the exterior with a

damp cloth. Allow to dry completely before use.

Cleaning the Air Filter and Air Intake Vent

From time to time, check the Air Filter and Air Intake Vent for lint

build up. Cleaning the filter and

vent helps to prevent the dryer

from overheating.

The filter is located at the back of

the dryer. Grasp the filter and turn

counter clockwise until it pulls off

(Fig. A). Use a small cleaning brush

to remove build up from the Air

Filter. Brush off any build up from

the Air Intake Vent while holding the dryer upside down.

Replace the Air Filter by lining up the notches with the grooves on the

dryer. Turn the filter clockwise until it locks in place.

(Opposite of Fig. A) Do not use dryer without the Filter Cover.
