3. Tap on Options and then on Reference: Off in the "Options"
menu to select another scan that should be shown on the
same display as the current scan. Highlight the required
scan number and press Highlight Reference.
Note: Once a reference scan has been selected, the Reference:
Off key in the "Options" menu turns into Reference: On.
Note: Two scans with the same wavelength range and step can be
displayed using the overlay option. This process can be repeated
until all matching scans are displayed.
4. The reference curve is shown in orange. The absorbance or
transmittance value and the associated wavelength are
highlighted in orange.
• In addition, the difference of the absorbance and/or
transmission value between the two scans (measured
scan and reference scan) is indicated/highlighted at each
position of the cursor.
Note: A blue and an orange-colored field are shown top left in the
display. The orange-colored field is for the reference scan, the blue
for the current wavelength scan.
5. Tap on the blue or orange-colored field in the left top corner
of the display to switch between the measured wavelength
scan and the reference scan.
Third option:
Comparison of two already existing scans from the measurement
data memory
1. Call up the measurement data in the main menu under
Recall Data/Wavelength Scan.
2. Select the first scan.
3. Tap on Reference in the "Options" menu. Select the second
scan.
4. Tap on Graph.
Note: Once a reference scan has been selected, the Reference:
Off key in the "Options" menu turns into Reference: On.
