2007 - 2010 Polaris RZR/

2008 – 2010 Polaris Ranger

2002 – 2011 Sportsman Magnum

- You will be working with a few small parts. A clean workspace is very important for

properly functioning HID lights.

- Be very careful when working with HID light bulbs and ballast.

o NEVER TOUCH BULB! If bulb has been touched, clean with paper towel and

acetone to remove skin oil. Even if you can’t see it, your bulb will crack within a
few hours of use.

o NEVER TURN ON BALLAST WITHOUT BULB CONNECTED! If you do

23,000 volts will be looking for somewhere to go. If it finds you, it makes 120ac
house voltage seem like a pinprick. Take our word; your arm will hurt all day.

- Take the protective cover from the back of the bulb. There will be one rubber seal left on

the bulb.

- Remove the old bulb and insert the new bulb into each reflector. Look through the front

to ensure that is has fully seated.

- Mount ballast with supplied self tapping screws anywhere the wires will reach. The

ballast can get wet and doesn’t need direct airflow. Most users mount the ballast on the
plastic firewall.

- Using the wire harnesses provided plug each harness into stock wiring on each side.

- Plug harnesses into the ballast making sure to not plug in backwards. One side of ballast

has a ramp for the clip and one side does not.

- Secure everything with zip ties and makes sure ballast is plugged into the lights.
