Installation Instruction

-

You will be working with a few small parts. A clean workspace is very
important for properly functioning HID lights.

-

Be very careful when working with HID light bulbs and ballast.

o NEVER TOUCH BULB! If bulb has been touched, clean with paper

towel and acetone to remove skin oil. Even if you can’t see it, your
bulb will crack within a few hours of use.

o NEVER TURN ON BALLAST WITHOUT BULB

CONNECTED! If you do 23,000 volts will be looking for
somewhere to go. If it finds you, it makes 120ac house voltage seem
like a pinprick. Take our word for it; your arm will hurt all day.

-

Remove all parts from the kit and read through the instructions. There are 3
main components to the HI/LO kit. The bulbs, the ballast and the wiring
harness. It is a good idea to mock everything up to check wire length and
clearance issues.

-

Remove the rubber gasket around back of stock headlight bulb and remover
bulb and associated wiring back to the white 3 wire plug.
