Phantom power adapter operation
The CAP002 can be used as a phantom power adapter which will step down the phantom power
Voltage developed by your mixer or other device (typically 48 V) to a 9 Volt level required by a
condenser microphone. This Voltage is then passed through the microphone cable to your
microphone. No separate power connections to CAP002 are required. It will be necessary to lift and
move the red jumpers on the headers "JP1" and "JP2" on the circuit board should be repositioned
from "B" to "A", and the resistor R5 changed to 100K (1/4 Watt).
