6.5.2 Port setup

1) Connection (TCP)

A port for communication of basic info with CMS.

2) Video (TCP)

A port for communication of video data. (for remote surveillance)

3) Media server (TCP)

A port for communication of data in file system. (for remote search)

4) Web server (TCP)

A port for web server

5) Audio (UDP)

A port for communication of audio communication

6) Other control packet (UDP)

A port for communication of other control packet. (health check)

Set as default port value for remote connection. If requested to connect

from IP sharer or private IP environment, port for DVR shall be manually
opened. (DMZ or port forwarding)

6.5.3 DDNS setup

1)

Set connection possible with domain name under dynamic IP.

2)

Register the selected host name in DNS server.

3)

Input host name to register in DNS server. (English and numeric only.)

4)

Set updating period of IP address to DNS server.

5)

After you register host name at

http://ipdvrfree.com

with serial number

and registration number, you are expected to keep the number.

When DVR is connected to internet through IP sharer, you are expected to set DDNS surely.
