Flushing & Shut-Down:


1.

When finished with dispensing, it is necessary to flush and clean mixer and dispense head / gun.

2.

Open dispensing valve momentarily to allow Adhesive Ram pump shafts to run to full down position

3.

Close dispensing head / gun valve all the way.

4.

Position outlet of mixer into approved waste container. Slowly open 3 way flush valve to air and

allow air to purge for 4-5 seconds

5.

Then turn 3 way flush valve to solvent purge for 4-5 seconds

6.

Repeat steps 4 and 5

7.

We recommend at this point removing the mixer housing and pushing out the mixer elements into a

container for cleaning. An appropriate bottle brush should be used for cleaning out the mixer
housing and the mixer elements should be cleaned by hand (see figures 44 & 45)

8a. Clean out the outlet ports as much as possible in the dispensing head with solvent and brush

8b. Attach and secure outlet / night cap on the end of the dispensing block

8c. Inspect mixer elements for wear and breakage and replace if necessary

If you are using a disposable mixer assembly check for blockages or hardened material build up

inside the mixer tube and replace as necessary. (see figure 46)

9.

Turn main air “off” to system and clean the block handle

.

10. Relieve the air pressure from the flush tank by lifting the relief valve ring.
