Maintenance

At least every six months, completely disassemble and inspect the catalyst pump

assembly. Replace the S.S. balls, O-Rings, springs, piston seal and packing

assembly.

Snug / tighten the Metering pump packing nut approximately 1/8 – 1/4 turn

clockwise to prevent leakage. Repeat this procedure when necessary to

prevent material from leaking. Do not over tighten as this will reduce the

life of the packing set and may cause damage to the pump.

Troubleshooting

The catalyst system should be checked if you are experiencing an uneven cure

or slow gel time.

For a complete troubleshooting guide, please refer to the manual “Testing &

Adjusting Your MVP Pumping System” containing important testing procedures

that should be performed every time the catalyst pump is serviced.
