BEFORE USE
1. The kettle should be placed on fl at, stable and dry surfaces.
2. Prior to its fi rst use, fi ll the kettle with water and bring to boil. It is recommended that
you fi ll, boil, and empty the kettle at least 2 times.
3. When water has boiled, the kettle will shut off automatically.
3. If needed, you may also shut the kettle off earlier by moving the “on/off” switch to the
off position.
4. After water boiling or after the shutting off, wait about 15 – 20 seconds for the kettle
to cool before repeated boiling.
5. In case of empty kettle turned on, it will be turned off by the system protecting the appli-
ance against overheating. After that allow the kettle to cool for about 15 minutes before
the next fi lling.
USE OF KETTLE
1. Prior its fi lling with water, remove the kettle from the base.
2. Open the lid of kettle and fi ll the appliance with water up to desired level (however wa-
ter volume should not be lower than 0,5L and not higher than 1,0L).
3. Close the lid securely.
4. Turn on the kettle by means of the switch. The kettle will shut off automatically when
water begins to boil.
ATTENTION!
The kettle can be used only with the base included in the scope of equipment supplied with
corresponding model.
Do not open the kettle lid in course of water boiling.
Interior illumination function is active after the turning on of the kettle.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The kettle should be regularly descaled in accordance with the following instructions.
Before the commencement of descaling procedure, unplug the appliance from electrical
outlet and allow the kettle to cool.
1. Fill the kettle with water with vinegar or with lemon juice (citric acid) or use dedicated
descaling agent available at retailers selling household appliances.
2. Let the mixture in kettle to soak for 1 hour and boil thereafter.
3. Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with cold water.
4. Repeat this procedure 1 up 3 times, if necessary.
