INSTALLATION
The IPT148 uses RJ45 network connectors. Cable terminations may be 568B or 568A, whichever wiring
configuration is used must be the same throughout. The diagrams below show two common test hookups.
The first diagram shows testing the installation of a PoE camera with the PoE network.
Note : It is important to connect the network switch to the IPT148 before connecting the PoE camera. After
connectig the network switch verify that the PoE indicator is lit, then connect the PoE camera.
The second diagram is for testing the installation of a PoE camera without a PoE network switch. A
power source is required when testing without the PoE network.
