CLEARING THE DISPLAY TO ZERO

Press MIN and SEC buttons simultaneously to clear the
display to zero. The display may be cleared to zero whether
or not the timer is running.

TO SET TIMER

• Press MIN, SEC buttons to set desired timing period. Press

and hold MIN or SEC button to rapidly advance display.

TO START TIMER

• Once desired timing period is shown on display, press

START/STOP button to start countdown (see Time-Out
section).

• When timer reaches zero, the alarm sounds for 30

seconds then automatically shuts off unless turned off
manually. Press any button to manually silence the alarm.

TIME-OUT

If a pause in the timing operation is required, press the
START/STOP button to “freeze” the display at the current

reading (time-out). To resume timing at the point it was
stopped, press the START/STOP button again. Any
number of time-outs may be performed.

BUILT-IN MEMORY FUNCTION

Pressing the START/STOP button to silence a
sounding alarm also returns the display to the
previously programmed time. Only the START/STOP
button returns the display to the previously set time.

ALL OPERATIONAL DIFFICULTIES

If this timer does not function properly for any reason,
please replace the battery with a new high quality
battery (see Battery Replacement section). Low
battery power can occasionally cause any number of
“apparent” operational difficulties. Replacing the
battery with a new fresh battery will solve most
difficulties.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

A faint display, incorrect display, erratic display, or no
display are all indicators that the battery must be
replaced. On back of unit, slide off the battery cover.
Remove the exhausted battery and replace with a new
AAA alkaline battery. For proper placement, see
drawing located inside battery compartment. Replace
battery cover. Replacement battery: Control No. 1105.
