o HARDWARE INSTALLATION
NOTE
You are request to insert the USB Adapter when you had finished
installing the ‘Driver / Utility’ from Driver CD. Please refer to
section n from previous page.
1. Locate a USB port from your computer or portable PC.
2. Insert your USB Adapter into USB port, and Windows will detect the new
hardware in few seconds automatically.
3. Lastly the hardware will be prompted installed and ready for use.
4. When your USB Adapter is recognized by Windows, icon at taskbar will be
shown as below status.

HARDWARE VERIFICATION
To verify if the device exists in your computer or portable PC, and is it at Enable
Mode, follow below steps to check through:
1. Go to ‘Control Panel’ and select ‘System’ .
2. From the System Properties, choose ‘Hardware’ tab.
4. Click button ‘Device Manager’ from the hardware tab. If you are able to
find ‘PROLiNK WN2000 Mini USB2.0 Wireless Adapter’ from the listing,
meaning that your device is installed completely successful.

CONFIGURATION UTILITY
After the USB Adapter is completely installed, you may use the ‘Configuration
Utility’ to connect to any Access Points (APs) available around your area. To perform
the utility, follow any of below 3 methods:
Method #1:
1. Double-click the ‘Intelligent Wireless Icon’ from taskbar.
Method #2:
1. Right-click ‘Intelligent Wireless Icon’ from taskbar, a list of available
option will be prompted out as below figure.
2. Select ‘Launch Config Utility’ from the list.
Method #3:
1. Click on ‘Start’ button from taskbar and choose ‘All Programs’.
2. Click the newly installed program folder ‘Intelligent Wireless’.
3. Choose program ‘Intelligent Wireless Utility’.
With any of above three (3) methods, the Configuration Utility will be prompted out
to your screen as below figure.
