Vegetable

compartment with

humidity filter

The humidity drawer is covered by

a special filter which allows the air to

pass through but retains the humidity.
A high air humidity keeps leafy
vegetables fresh for longer. Vegetables
and fruit should be stored at a slightly
lower air humidity.

The air humidity in the vegetable
drawers depends on the amount
of stored food.

If the air humidity is too high, drips may
form and cause decay.

High air humidity
Regulator to left - ventilation opening

is closed.

Low air humidity
Regulator to right - ventilation opening

is open.

coolĆfresh" drawer

(freshProtectbox)

(depending on model)
The temperature in the coolĆfresh"

drawer is about 0 °C. The low

temperature allows optimum storage

conditions for perishable food.
Food can be stored two to three times

longer than in the normal refrigerator

compartment without loss of freshness.
Select the temperature to be set

according to the food in the

coolĆfresh" drawer:

S Fish and meat

(fish and meat, 0 °C")

S Milk and yogurt

(milk and yogurt, +2 °C")

and are to remain fresh for even longer,
such as: meat and sausage, fresh fish,
seafood, milk, butter, soft cheese, curd
cheese, vegetables and fruit.

Fruit and vegetables sensitive to cold,
e.g. tropical fruit, avocados, papayas,
passion fruit, aubergine, cucumber,
peppers, as well as fruit that has to

please note:

The purchase freshness" is important
for the shelfĆlife of your food.
