Explanation

Total Queue Memory (buffers)

The total number of buffers that are
allocated to all queues on the port.

Total Queue Memory (bytes)

The total number of bytes that are
allocated to all queues on the port.

Age Out Interval

The maximum number of
milliseconds that a queue can store a
packet. If the switch does not forward
the packet before this time period
expires, the queue drops the packet.

Reserved Allocation (buffers)

The number of buffers that are
allocated to a specific queue. These
buffers are dedicated to the queue and
cannot be used by another queue.

Reserved Allocation (bytes)

The number of bytes that are allocated
to a specific queue. These bytes are
dedicated to the queue and cannot be
used by another queue.

Maximum Allocation (buffers)

The maximum number of buffers that
can be allocated to a specific queue if
extra buffers are available (not being
used by another queue).

Maximum Allocation (bytes)

The maximum number of bytes that
can be allocated to a specific queue if
extra bytes are available (not being
used by another queue).

Minimum Free Pool After Allocation

The minimum number of empty

, they can consume buffers
in their Maximum Allocation only
until the pool of empty buffers reaches
this number.
