5. Secure the black convertor box and trailer
wiring with double sided tape, cable ties
and/or locate a suitable mounting position
and drill a 3/32" hole and secure with screw
provided using mounting tab on convertor
to prevent damage or rattling.
WARNING
All connections must be complete for the
T-Connector to function properly. Test and
verify installation with a test light or trailer
once installed.
6. Reposition the trunk liner and reattach the
threshold panel.
NOTE
Store 4-Flat in trunk area when not in use.
WARNING
Overloading circuit can cause fires.
DO NOT exceed lower of towing
manufacturer rating or:
• Max. stop/turn light: 1 per side (2.1 amps)
• Max. tail lights: (4.2 amps)

TOOLS REQUIRED:
Trim Panel Remover, Screwdriver,
Drill & Wrench
1. Open trunk and remove threshold panel.
Partially remove the felt trunk liner on
driver’s side, exposing the taillight wiring

2. Separate the harness connectors, being
careful not to break the locking tabs e.
3. Insert the T-connector between the harness
connectors and lock into place (Note: the
single plug-in for the right turn function
is on the driver’s side). Be sure that the
connectors are fully inserted with locking
tabs in place.
4. Use the existing ground stud or locate a
suitable grounding point. Drill a 3/32" hole
and secure the white wire using the eyelet
and screw provided.
CAUTION
Verify what is behind any surface prior to
drilling to avoid damage to the vehicle and/
or personal injury. Do not drill into any
exposed surfaces.
