8 12-1.75mm x 35mm Hex Head Bolts

1 Driver/Left Top Mounting Bracket

8 12mm Lock Washers

1 Passenger/Right Top Mounting Bracket

8 12mm Hex Nuts

1 Driver/Left Bottom Mounting Bracket

16 12mm Flat Washers

1 Passenger/Right Bottom Mounting Bracket

2 10-1.50mm x 25mm Hex Head Bolts

1 Driver/Left Support Bracket

2 10mm Lock Washers

1 Passenger/Right Support Bracket

2 10mm Hex Nuts
4 10mm Flat Washers

PROCEDURE:

1.

REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ
INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.

From underneath the vehicle, remove the passenger side (2) lower nuts holding the bumper frame
to the main frame and (1) body mount bolt, then attach the passenger top bracket as shown in the
figure on page two. Torque nuts and bolt to 65 FT. LBS.

3.

Partially attach passenger side bottom bracket to top bracket using (2) 12mm x 35mm Hex Head
Bolts, (2) 12mm Lock Washers, (2) 12mm Hex Nuts, and (4) 12mm Flat Washers as shown in the
figure on page two.

4.

Open hood and attach passenger side Support Bracket to upper support frame using the existing
bolt as shown in figure on page two. NOTE: Use rubber bumpers to keep mount braces off of
bumper.

5. Repeat steps 2 – 5 for driver side.

6.

Position Grille Guard on the outer side of Bottom Mounting Brackets and Support Brackets. Attach
Grille Guard to Bottom Mounting Brackets using (4) 12mm x 35mm Hex Head Bolts, (4) 12mm
Lock Washers, (4) 12mm Hex Nuts, and (8) 12mm Flat Washers. Attach Support Brackets to Grille
Guard using (2) 10mm x 25mm Button Head Bolts, (2) 10mm Lock Washers, (2) 10mm Hex Nuts,
and (4) 10mm Flat Washers. Torque 10mm support brace fasteners to 35 FT.LBS and 12mm
fasteners to 65 FT.LBS.

7. Adjust Grille Guard properly, and then tighten all hardware at this time.
8. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.

To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a
protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could
damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild
soap may be used also to clean the Sidebar.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Sidebar.
