6. Move the Grille Guard into position and line up the Top Mounting Brackets with the mounting slots in

the back of the cross bar on the Grille Guard. Bolt the Mounting Brackets to the cross bar with (2) 6mm
Hex Bolts, (4) 6mm Flat Washers and (2) 6mm Nylon Lock Nuts, (Figure 10).

7. With the hood open, push the Grille Guard back until it is upright. Align, center and adjust the Grille

Guard properly. Adjust the Brackets for fit as necessary and tighten all mounting hardware including the
hardware behind the bumper and Mounting Brackets. Carefully close the hood and check for clearance
between the Top Brackets and the factory grille insert.

8. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.

To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer
over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel
: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild soap may be
used also to clean the Grille Guard.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Grille Guard.
