PROCEDURE:

1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS

CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. ASSISTANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

2. Starting on the driver side, remove the (4) factory hex bolts and nuts, (Figure 1 & 2), securing the tow hook

to the frame. NOTE: It may be necessary to use a long extension to reach between the frame and the
radiator to remove the inner factory hex nuts, (Figure 2). Place the hardware and tow hook aside. Insert
the driver side Frame Mounting Bracket through the opening in the bumper and up to the mounting surface,
(Figure 3 & 4). Use the supplied longer (4) 10mm x 45mm hex bolts, (8) 10mm Flat Washers, (4) 10mm
Lock Washers and (4) 10mm Hex Nuts, (Figure 4), to go through the tow hook and the Frame Mounting
Bracket. Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time. Repeat this step for the passenger side Frame
Mounting Bracket installation.

3. With assistance, lift the Grille Guard up to the outside of the Frame Mounting Brackets. Insert (4) 12-

1.75mm x 35mm Hex Head Bolts, (8) 12mm 24mm OD x 2.5mm Flat Washers and (4)12mm Nylon Lock
Nuts, (Figure 5), through the Grille Guard and Brackets. IMPORTANT: Slowly open and close the hood to
check for clearance and fit of the Grille Guard and brackets. Adjust as necessary then snug but do not
tighten all of the hardware.

4. Stand back from the vehicle and check to see that the Grille Guard is centered and level on the vehicle and

adjust as necessary. Once properly aligned, tighten all of the hardware.

5. Do periodic inspections of the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.

To protect your investment
, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a
protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could
damage the finish.
For stainless steel
: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild
soap may be used also to clean the Grille Guard.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Grille Guard.
