PROCEDURE:

1.

REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ
INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. DO NOT ATTEMPT
INSTALLATION ALONE; PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK MAY RESULT.

2. From underside of vehicle, remove the two bolts holding the passenger factory tow hook, then

remove tow hook from vehicle and set aside.

3.

Determine driver and passenger side Mounting Brackets. From behind of factory bumper, slide
passenger side Mounting Bracket through factory tow hook cavity (Figure 1). NOTE: Refer to
Figure above for bracket configuration.

4.

Insert factory tow hook back into frame. Secure Passenger Mounting Bracket to frame using the
same bolts to install the tow hook (Figure 2 & 3). Do not tighten at this time.

5. Repeat step 2-4 for driver side Mounting Bracket.

6.

Open the hood and using a flat screw driver remove the eight fasteners from plastic shroud
located on top of the radiator (Figure 4). Remove plastic shroud and set aside.

7.

Using a 10mm socket remove the four screws across the top of grille shell (Figure 5). Slightly pull
off the grille shell towards the front of the vehicle to access the upper factory bumper bolt.

8.

Use a 21mm Socket with a long extension to reach and remove the upper factory bumper bolt
(Figure 6).

9.

Locate the passenger side Top Support Bracket. Attach Top Support Bracket to vehicle using the
same upper factory bumper bolt removed in step 8 (Figure 7). NOTE: The welded nut on the Top
Support Bracket should be facing the radiator. Do not tighten at this time.

10.

From the front of grille shell, insert the passenger Top Bracket trough the outer and lower air
intake of the factory grille shell. Attach passenger Top Bracket to passenger Top Support Bracket
using the included (1) 8mm x 25mm Hex Head Bolt, (1) 8mm Lock Washer, and (1) 8mm Flat
Washer (Figure 7 & 8). Do not tighten at this time.

11. Repeat steps 8 – 10 for driver side Top support Bracket and Top Bracket.
12. With help position Grille Guard on the outer side of Mounting Brackets. Align holes on the

Mounting Brackets with holes on the Grille Guard.

13.

Attach Grille Guard to Mounting Bracket using the included (4) 12mm x 30mm Hex Head Bolts, (4)
12mm Nylock Nuts, and (8) 12mm Flat Washers (Figure 9). Do not tighten at this time.

14.

Attach Grille Guard to Top Brackets using the included (2) 10mm x 30mm Button Allen Head
Bolts, (2) 10mm Nylock Nuts, and (2) 10mm Flat Washers (Figure 10). NOTE: Insert Button Head
bolt from the outer side of plate. Do not tighten at this time.

15. Level and adjust Grille Guard, then tighten all hardware at this time.

16.

Reinstall the four screws remove from the grille shell and plastic shroud back onto vehicle.

17. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
