1 Driver/Left Top Bracket (E) 4 10mm ID x 26mm OD x 3mm Flat Washers
1 Passenger/Right Top Bracket (F) 8 12-1.75mm x 30mm Hex Head Bolts
8 12mm Nylock Nuts
16 12mm ID x 29mm OD x 3mm Flat Washers
PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. DO NOT ATTEMPT INSTALLATION ALONE;
PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK MAY RESULT.
2. Determine driver and passenger side Mounting Brackets and Top Brackets.
3. To install the two Frame Brackets and two Grille Guard Mounting brackets, remove the tow hook bolts and
use them to install the Frame Brackets and the Grille Guard Mounting Brackets. NOTE: Using a sharp utility
knife cutout an opening to allow Grille Guard Mounting Brackets to pass through tow hook cavity (Fig 1).
The tow hooks remain in their stock position in the frame rails. Install the Grille Guard Mounting Brackets on
the outer side of the tow hooks.
4. Attach Frame Brackets to Grille Guard Mounting Brackets using (1 ea) 12mm x 30mm Hex Head Bolt, (1
ea) 12mm Nylock Nut, (2 ea) 12mm Flat Washers (Fig 2 – 5). NOTE: The driver side Grille Guard Mounting
Bracket mounts to one tow hook bolt and the driver side Frame Bracket mounts to two tow hook bolts. The
passenger side Grille Guard Mounting Bracket mounts to two tow hook bolts and the passenger side Frame
Bracket mounts to one tow hook bolt.
5. Open the hood and remove the eight plastic fasteners from plastic shroud on top of radiator (Fig 2). Remove
plastic shroud from vehicle to access behind factory grille shell.
6. Remove the passenger side upper frame bolt and place Top Support Bracket onto frame. Secure Top
Support Bracket to frame using the factory bolt removed in this step (Fig 6). Do not tighten at this time.
7. Locate passenger side Top Bracket and attach it to already installed Top Support Bracket using the included
(1) 8mm x 20mm Hex Head Bolt, (1) 8mm Lock Washer, and (1) 8mm Flat Washer (Fig 7).
8. Repeat steps 6 & 7 for driver side Top Support Bracket and Top Bracket.
9. With help position the Grille Guard on the outer side of Mounting Brackets. Attach Grille Guard to Mounting
Brackets using (6) 12mm x 30mm Hex Head Bolts, (6) 12mm Nylock Nuts, and (12) 12mm Flat Washers
(Fig 8).
10. Attach Grille Guard to Top Brackets using the included (2) 10mm x 25mm Button Head Bolts, (2) 8mm
Nylock Nuts, and (4) 8mm Flat Washers. Do not tighten at this time.
11. Level and adjust Grille Guard, and then tighten all the hardware at this time.
12. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
