PARTS LIST:

1 Driver Side Taillight Guard
1 Passenger Side Taillight Guard

PROCEDURE:

1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ

INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.

2. Open the tailgate and remove the driver’s side screws holding the taillight housing (Figure

1).

3. Grasp the taillight housing with one hand and pull gently. NOTE: Be sure to pull straight

back to avoid possible damage. This is the same procedure required to change a burn out
taillight in the assembly. For more info see owner’s manual on replacing burn taillight
bulbs.

4. Fit Taillight Guard over the taillight lens. The Side Bracket should hook to the edge of the

taillight housing. NOTE: If they don’t fit properly, they can be adjusted to fit properly using
a pair of pliers. If you’re doing an adjustment, make sure to cover the mounting tabs on
the Taillight Guard with masking tape to protect the finish.

5. Return the assembly back to the vehicle making sure that the Taillight Guard is aligned

and centered properly on the taillight housing.

6. Secure the Taillight Guard assembly using the same factory torx screws (Figure 2).
7. Repeat steps 2-6 to install the passenger side.
8. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and

tight.
