1 Rear Bumper Guard
1 Driver/Left Frame Bracket
1 Passenger/Right Frame Bracket
4 12-1.75mm x 35mm Hex Bolts
8 12mm x 32mm OD x 3mm Flat

Washers

4 12mm Lock Washers
4 12mm Hex Nuts


PROCEDURE:

1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ

INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. ASSISTANCE IS
RECOMMENDED.

2. Start installation at the driver side-rear of the vehicle. Locate the metal bracket for the muffler

hanger bolted to the frame channel, (Figures 1). Remove/release the rubber muffler hanger.
Remove the (2) factory hex bolts.

3. Select the driver side Mounting Bracket.

a. Vehicles without factory installed tow package: Gently pull down on the muffler

hanger bracket and insert the Mounting Bracket between the hanger bracket and the
frame channel, (Figure 2). Line up the (2) holes in the Bracket with the threaded holes
in the frame channel. Bolt the Mounting Bracket in place using the (2) factory hex bolts.
Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.

b. Vehicles with factory installed tow package: Hold the driver side Mounting Bracket in

place on top of the hitch bracket, (Figure 3). Bolt the Mounting Bracket to the hitch
bracket with the (2) factory hex bolts. Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.

4. Repeat Step 2a or Step2b for passenger side Mounting Bracket installation.
5.
With assistance, carefully position the Rear Bumper Guard up to the outside of the Brackets.

Use the included (4) 12mm x 35mm Hex Bolts, (8) 12mm Flat Washers, (4) 12mm Lock
Washers and (4) 12mm Hex Nuts to bolt the Rear Bumper Guard to the Brackets, (Figure 4).

6. Align and adjust the Rear Bumper Guard and tighten all hardware.

Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.


To protect your investment
, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to
add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives
that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel
: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish.
Mild soap may be used also to clean the Rear Bumper Guard.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Rear Bumper Guard.


IMPORTANT! Due to the close proximity of the Frame Bracket to the muffler, allow
mufflers to cool completely before starting the installation.
