Slip edit:
Â
Changes the portion of the clip’s media seen in the sequence, but the
position and length of the clip remain the same in the sequence.
Slide edit:
Â
Moves a clip left or right in the sequence without changing the duration of
the clip.
Roll edit:
Â
Moves an edit point left or right in the sequence (changing the preceding
clip’s Out point and the following clip’s In point simultaneously).
Ripple edit:
Â
Changes a clip’s In or Out point, and the following clips move, or “ripple”,
leaving no gap.
Linked Selection button:
Â
Turns the linking between the video and audio items of a clip
on or off so that you can work with them together or separately.
